General Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between Sec & Cloud (EURL), SIRET 90940997100019, publisher of the EduBoost platform, and any user subscribing to a paid plan. EduBoost is an AI-powered educational tutoring platform offering interactive tutoring sessions, quizzes, exercises, and revision tools for children.
2. Plans and Pricing
EduBoost offers the following subscription plans:
- Free Trial: 0 EUR. Allows you to discover the service with limited monthly quotas and 1 child profile.
- Starter Plan: 7.99 EUR/month or 77 EUR/year (equivalent to 6.42 EUR/month). Includes access to AI sessions, quizzes, exercises, revision sheets, and 1 child profile.
- Boost Plan: 17.99 EUR/month or 173 EUR/year (equivalent to 14.42 EUR/month). Includes all Starter plan features with extended quotas, access to mindmaps, sketchnotes and podcasts, detailed parent reports, and up to 2 child profiles.
- Premium Plan: 28.99 EUR/month or 278 EUR/year (equivalent to 23.17 EUR/month). Includes all Boost plan features with near-unlimited quotas on quizzes, exercises, revision sheets, mindmaps and sketchnotes, priority support, and up to 5 child profiles.
All prices are shown in euros inclusive of all taxes. Sec & Cloud reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Price changes only apply to new subscriptions or renewals.
3. Payment
Payment is made by credit or debit card through the secure Stripe payment platform. The subscription is automatically renewed at each billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless previously cancelled by the user. Payment is processed on the anniversary date of the subscription.
4. Duration and Commitment
Each subscription period (monthly or annual) is binding and final. No refund will be issued for a period that has already commenced. A monthly subscription commits the user for the current month. An annual subscription commits the user for the current 12-month period.
5. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with EU consumer protection law and Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from the date of your subscription to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to provide reasons or pay any penalties. However, in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised if the performance of the service has begun, with your consent, before the end of the withdrawal period. 6. Fair Use Policy
EduBoost applies monthly per-child-profile quotas to ensure service quality for all users. The quotas below apply per calendar month:
Free Trial
2 voice sessions, 3 quizzes, 3 exercises, 3 revision sheets per month, 1 child profile.
Starter Plan
6 voice sessions, 20 quizzes, 20 exercises, 10 revision sheets per month, 1 child profile.
Boost Plan
30 voice sessions, 60 quizzes, 60 exercises, 25 revision sheets, 15 mindmaps, 15 sketchnotes and 10 podcasts per month, 2 child profiles maximum.
Premium Plan
80 voice sessions per month, 30 podcasts per month, quizzes, exercises, revision sheets, mindmaps and sketchnotes under fair educational use, priority support, 5 child profiles maximum.
Beyond manifestly professional, commercial or automated use (scripts, bots, resale), or exceeding five times the Boost plan quotas per child profile (300 quizzes/month, 300 exercises/month, 125 revision sheets/month, 75 mindmaps/month and 75 sketchnotes/month), Sec & Cloud reserves the right to contact the user to agree on compliant use. Failing agreement within 15 days, access to the affected features may be temporarily limited or the subscription terminated with pro-rata refund for the unused period.
If a monthly quota is exceeded, service may be temporarily throttled until the start of the next month. Accounts are never suspended for fair use threshold violations.
These thresholds are designed to be unreachable under normal educational use.
7. Cancellation
Users may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The user retains access to the service until the end of the period already paid for.
8. Liability
EduBoost is an educational tool and is not a substitute for professional teaching. Sec & Cloud does not guarantee any academic results. The platform is provided "as is". Sec & Cloud shall not be held liable for any indirect damages, data loss, or service interruptions resulting from the use of the platform.
9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These GTC are governed by French law. In the event of any dispute regarding the interpretation or execution of these terms, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction. In accordance with the French Consumer Code, consumers are informed that they may resort to conventional mediation or any alternative dispute resolution method.
10. Age Restriction
The EduBoost service is intended for children under the supervision of their parents or legal guardians. Creating a parent account requires being at least 18 years old. Child profiles are created and managed by the parent account holder.
11. Data Protection
Sec & Cloud is committed to protecting the personal data of its users in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data is stored within the European Union. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
